QUESTION 40


A 56-year-old man presents to the dermatology clinic with an itchy eruption on the ears and neck. They have been present for at least 6 months and seem to be spreading. He also complains of stiffness and thickening of the skin. On physical examination, there are numerous firm, waxy, yellow papules on the posterior ear, postauricular region and posterior neck (40).
