QUESTION 61


A 41-year-old man with a remote history of Hodgkin’s lymphoma presents with an intensely pruritic rash that is scattered over his arms and legs and in his groin region. He states that the eruption began on his wrists and hands and has progressively spread. He denies any history of atopic dermatitis or recent travel. A skin scraping was performed with a scalpel blade and was observed under the light microscope using mineral oil (61).
