Upper Lip Angular Skin-Muscle-Mucosal Flap to Lower Lip

INDICATIONS
The elasticity of the lips and the design of the angular flap allow this flap to be used for reconstruction of large wedge, rectangular, or trapezoidal defects of the lower lip. After creation of the flap, its shape may be modified to fit the defect. The scar of the upper lip is partly concealed in the nasolabial fold (see Fig. 170.2).
