Chafing form of diaper dermatitis in 9-month-old.
Perianal type of diaper rash secondary to diarrhea.
Confluent redness with satellite papules and pustules in diaper rash with C. albicans infection.
Diffuse redness of scrotum and foreskin with satellite papules and C. albicans superinfection.
CLINICAL FEATURES
A rash limited to skin under the diaper is the most common form of childhood irritant contact dermatitis. Twenty percent of children will develop some diaper dermatitis during diaper wearing years. Four clinical patterns are observed.
