19.2 Surgery
We started surgery with sentinel lymph node biopsy. Frozen section demonstrated no cancer cells within the sentinel lymph node. After deepithelialization of the skin surrounding the neo-nipple-areola complex (Fig. 19.2), the dermis was incised mediocaudal and the skin was dissected from the breast parenchyma from 5 up to 10 o’clock.
