Preoperative histology demonstrated invasive adenocarcinoma of the breast. Preoperative hormonal therapy was administered in order for the patient to relax as she was very intensively refusing any type of operation because of her fear towards anesthesia; however, after demonstrating some kind of downsizing of the tumor (Fig. 12.2), she accepted breast-conserving surgery 5 months after initiating endocrine treatment.
