Abstract



Background


The distal radius nearly always heals but union can include a deformity that compromises function. Bone grafts may fill bone voids and maintain alignment, but the use of bone grafts and graft substitutes varies substantially no matter which surgical approach is used. A case was presented and evidence reviewed to determine the best approach.
