Treatment was first initiated with prednisone and azathioprine and was then substituted with mycophenolate mofetil . During her disease, the patient had relapses twice: when she was on 15 mg/day of prednisone and the other time when she received 20 mg/day of prednisone. Now she is under treatment with 7.5 mg/day of prednisone and her symptoms are under control.
