Pemphigus vulgarisCase reportsPhotographsPrednisoneSteroidA 25-year-old woman was diagnosed with pemphigus vulgaris (PV) 4 years ago, and her treatment was started with 55 mg/day of prednisone only. She had one relapse when the steroid was tapered. During that time, the dosage of steroid was 10 mg/day. After receiving treatment for 3 years with 3 mg/day of prednisone, it was tapered and now the symptoms are under control.
