Abstract



Background


Septic wrist joints can involve the radiocarpal, midcarpal, distal radioulnar, and carpometacarpal articulations but also extend into the carpal tunnel and subcutaneous tissues. Obtaining an appropriate diagnosis and instituting proper treatment should be done quickly. A case was described and the current evidence reviewed with respect to how to manage possible septic wrist cases.
