Abstract



Background


The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons has issued an updated clinical practice guideline on the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. The recommendations were developed based on systematic evidence-based processes designed to combat bias, enhance transparency, and promote reproducibility. The major recommendations were summarized.
